The software allows to maintain the data of national public and private sports facilities census 1996.

The database is designed to gather all relevant information required by all agencies at one time, and then allow each agency to collect and input data relevant to their needs.

Each agency operates with a specific user profile: revealer, municipal operator, provincial operator,  local CONI operator, CONI Servizi operator. The user has the rights to change and display only the data of  its competence. The minimum information required by the database for the sport inventory includes:

• title details of the property
• details of owner and controlling authority and/or lessees
• address (street/postal)
• contact person, position and contact details
• description of key activity areas within the facility (eg. swim pool, playground, sports hall)
• listing of amenities (eg. car parking, change rooms, grandstand)
• classification of the facility by standard
• activities undertaken at the facility
• age, condition and lifespan of facilities and amenities
• proposed work to be undertaken in the ensuing three years
• geographic localization (lat,lon)
